I am starting to attend Online Emotions Anonymous Meetings to deal with my Emotional Anorexia. The only problem is that there meetings are California-Centered and take place after Midnight UK Time (The Sunday Meeting is at Midnight UK Time and Friday Night has a Meeting at 1AM UK Time).

I'm quite new to SLAA - I came to it via recovery in another fellowship. I am a sex and love addict and anorexic, with the emphasis on anorexia, which is very bad at the moment. Just started going to meetings and doing some step work, but conscious that I really need a sponsor with experience in anorexia.
If there's anybody out there who can help, it would be greatly appreciated

Hi there. I've been around for a while but am going through a bad patch right now, would welcome feedback. It's a really confusing situation with aspects of love addiction and anorexia.

Does anyone else have this problem? SLAA members seem to find it difficult to be friendly in meetings and seem pretty 'cliquey' after the meeting. There is only so long you can hang around without feeling like a total idiot.

I am very depressed tonight as I am trying my very best to break through my anorexia but feel that I am losing the battle! I went to a party tonight and a guy made eye contact with me and when I tried to approach him later to have a chat and then connect with him and thus lose the anorexia/ fantasy impulse, he just started to chat to another woman and hardly gave me any attention.

I wondered if anyone can give me any advice on sexual anorexia?I'm at Step 9/10 at the moment but am really struggling with being attractive to the opposite sex.  I'd heard there was a workbook for anoretics - does anyone know what it's called?  If anyone has any other information, please let me know.  Thanks x

Toplines. This is my topic of self reflection for the weekend.This follows my realising that my addiction is just as severe, perhasp more so on the anorexic, acting in side as the addicted acting out side. I'm going to try to think up some toplines for me . HELP

Has anyone tried a rehab center for sexual anorexia? Also does social anorexia stem from the same thing or vice versa?
