Just wanted to say how fantastic last years 2010 convention was. Coming from rural Devon I had never met so many fellow tribes men and women before, it was GREAT! The most impressive thing for me, was in fact a minor detail - the soya milk! - for me that spoke volumes.
The whole convention was a credit to the organisers.
A suggestion for this year's convention, could there be something on HOW?
22 meetings 6 speakers including a couple who met in SLAA; Barbara L, an invited Speaker from USA, she co-edited our Basic text, was sponsored by our Founder Rich and has 30 years of SLAA BL sobriety

Can you offer some time and help out at the Convention? It could be 2 hours or 2 full days? We have a range of service positions available: eg Greeters at Check In, Set Up, Ushering. Can you offer any special skills eg setting up a PA system?
Its a great way to offer some service and the success of the Convention depends on it.

Saturday: Registration from 10am, Serenity Prayer and Welcome 11am, Speakers and Meetings until 8pm
