- I do the literature at the Friday HOW meeting at Hinde Street, and I would like to link up with literature secretaries at other meetings.
- * To co- ordinate getting hold of literature:
- - If I can do a print run of 30 HOW beginners kits and split it among 3- 4 meetings, it's a lot easier and cheaper than doing a run of 5- 10 every time.
- - If I need to re- stock on leaflets from the US, and pay the massive shipping charge ($26 - whqat's that about??!!), it makes much more sense to split the delivery cost with other meetings.
-
- (We've just placed an oder for five meetings, and brought the cost down from US$40 to US$6 each!!)
-
- * To manage excess literature
- - For some reason, I have 24 copies of the HOW 6-12 pack: hopefully there's a meeting out there who are just about to run out to whom I could sell 5 copies.
- - The Tuesday Notting Hill meeting has too many SLAA starter packs
- * To exchange knowledge/experience:
- - I'd be happy to share my experience of which bits of literature seem to shift fastest, and which have sat on my table staring accusingly at me for the last n weeks.
- This can hopefully link in with the Intergroup literature committee's programme.
- Looking forward to your feedback!
